Project Overview
Totus Group Inc. completed the full reconstruction of the main entrance stairs and accessibility ramp at Rogers’ facility located in Toronto. The existing entrance infrastructure was demolished and rebuilt to provide a modern, durable, and fully accessible entryway that complies with current Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards.
The project involved structural concrete work, accessibility upgrades, and custom-fabricated stainless steel handrails to ensure safe and barrier-free access for employees and visitors.
Project Objectives
The reconstructed entrance was designed and built to meet AODA accessibility requirements, ensuring barrier-free access for individuals with mobility or visual impairments. These standards require features such as stable non-slip surfaces, proper ramp slopes, tactile walking surface indicators, and continuous handrails to support safe navigation of public spaces.
Key Features
The completed entrance provides Rogers with a safe, durable, and fully accessible facility entrance that meets modern accessibility regulations while improving the overall functionality and appearance of the building.
Totus Group delivered the project with precision concrete work, high-quality metal fabrication, and careful attention to accessibility standards, ensuring the site is compliant, safe, and built to withstand heavy daily use.
